Frequently Asked Questions
A telephone canvassing campaign to schedule new appointments is charged at £30 per hour. A tailor made learning & development workshop for between 5 and 20 people is charged at £400 per day - for the whole group. If the workshop is required off-site at a purpose built training centre, the budgetary training room day rate varies from £50 to £60 per person depending upon venue. |
Ideally, you would bring along existing business cases or the documentation from a current bid for which you are preparing a response. However, if these items are not available, business simulations can be designed to suit your circumstances and most importantly, will be directly applicable to your own familiar competitive market conditions. |
A minimum level of knowledge and firsthand experience will need to be ascertained in order to make this type of L&D work for you. It is essential that delegates at least have an appreciation of a customer service environment. |
The only accurate future sales forecast method is the ‘Yield Factor’ because it is a measure of probable plausible outcomes, not an arbitrary percentage figure based on guesswork which surprisingly, is still largely in use. |
A selection of purpose built training centres is used across the country according to their proximity for the attendees. The advantage with these locations is their remoteness from the clients’ office environment which in turn ensures that the workshop remains free from interruption. The alternative is to hold them at the regular place of work if it is feasible to do so. |
These are fine and they have their place – but our preference is to customise the workshop effort to suit stated business requirements. This way, the recipients can apply their new learning and development skills directly within the business space they occupy whilst matching the circumstances they are most likely to experience. It’s a direct fit. |
Most certainly – and it works very well when entire company teams participate in the collaborative effort together. A good example is when a group is composed of field sales, marketing, technical support and project managers etc assembled in syndicates where they can work through assignments. It’s particularly useful if you are expecting an imminent invitation to bid or tender on a scope of work that may involve most of the company in the response. |
Apart from the most popular services, you may also wish to cover different topics such as presentation skills, negotiating for profit, professional business letter writing and telephone canvassing – to name but a few. If your subject preference isn’t mentioned here, then please feel free to call for more information. |
It’s a good question, but hard to answer briefly. The two things that need to happen before delegates attend a workshop is they are first subject to a skills assessment to establish a baseline and then have their individual performance indicators defined in terms of specifically desired outcomes. You can then measure results against what is expected of them and the consultant will participate in this process when the workshop has been completed. |
