Background:
The fundraising team needed to broaden their reach amongst the local business community by seeking new charity donors. There had not previously been a direct project plan to locate corporates in the immediate vicinity, so this was achieved when Cliveden Consulting agreed to target firms of a certain size within a pre-defined catchment area.
Outcome:
Over 200 new target accounts were located during a 3 month period from which a regular income stream has generated additional revenues. Apart from the short term financial benefits, this project has also released the fundraising team to concentrate upon their core skills in event management activities but with the added advantage of a much increased target database list with whom they can engage and develop in the future.
